The hotel is located in the Santa Engracia area which is not on the typical tourist map, making it too far out from the center of the city. the area itself is uninteresting, with not much to see or do. being away from that fire station would have been a plus.
The in-room internet service is expensive and constantly drops out.

Loved the size of the suite. Seperate bedroom, comfortable bed. Very quiet location. Close to metro station--one block away. Direct line to center of town. Would absolutely recommend to others.
No warm breakfast items on weekdays.

Because of a noise problem in the room originally assigned to me (and the one after that), the hotel staff member on duty said he would give me a "superior" room because of the inconvenience I had experienced. I was pleasantly surprised that this room was in fact a suite--much more than I ever would have expected.
I would have liked to have been able to use the free WiFi (available in 30 minute sessions) in my room; but the lobby was comfortable, so this is only a minor complaint.

The rooms were spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay.
The hotel lacked a bar or restaurant, limiting options for food and drink in the evening.

Great hotel in centre of Madrid, good position with good connection to airport and metro, 20 minutes walk from Real Madrid stadium.

Very clean, perfect for a business trip or city break.
Not really a 4* establishment for me, the outside looks very average to say the least.

Great breakfast selection and location close to the city center. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Slow wifi and lack of amenities in the surrounding area. the hotel was a decent choice for a city break.

Location - not many eating places in the immediate area but metro is very close.

I liked the fact that the room was more like an apartment than a simple bedroom.

Easy access to metro system. Close to free outdoor parc for jogging, running, walking. Close to public outdoor pool and a good, safe area with lots of bars, restaurants and shops!
It is close to a firehall.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Spaceous suite with seperate livingroom, bathroom and bedroom. Although it was about 40 degrees Celsius outside, the airco was keeping us cool at night. The hotel is in a quiet area, nearby the Ríos Rosas Metro-station. From there you can quickly visit the city-centre. We didn't use the breakfast at the hotel. There are several breakfast-options near Cuatro Caminos. Good and cheap restaurant-tip in Madrid near Opera and Royal Palace: "Madrid de Tapas" at Calle de Carlos III. They've just opened recently. Friendly people who serve with a smile, great food and they offered a 15 euro menu with drink, 4 tapas-dishes and desert.

Very spacious - a bedroom of a normal hotel, plus a living room! New interior, very clean Booked accommodation only, but the breakfast was not expensive for a city hotel (11 euro) Got very good rate of 45 euro per night (July) A few stations to downtown
No tea making facility in room
